THE GRACE PLACE

The mission of The Grace Place is to provide for the needs of hungry people living in Meriden. There are many reasons why people need a food pantry. Single parents, seasonal workers, and families dealing with illness or job loss can find help at The Grace Place. The Grace Place opened in downtown Meriden in March of 2013 serving 50 families a month; we are now serving over 600 families a month. We serve families with dignity and respect in mind. Every family is served individually and allowed to “shop” through our food pantry, selecting food items they desire. You do not need to be a member of New Life Church or even a visitor to participate in the program. We reach out to the greater community.
